Beat The Heat With My Strawberry Mint Sorbet

Beat The Heat With My Strawberry Mint Sorbet

Strawberry and mint go together like peas and carrots. Strawberries are packed full of Vitamin C and are a low-glycemic fruit, perfect if you are watching your waist line. Mint helps with digestion, increases energy, and helps you burn fat quicker. All in all, this pair is a winning combination!

This is a cleansing treat that is perfect for reducing heat in your body.  This sorbet provides you with whole, cleansing foods that are naturally cooling and seasonal. Serve it up and enjoy!

Strawberry Mint Sorbet

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cups frozen organic strawberries
  • 1 cup organic apple juice or coconut water (I prefer coconut water for this recipe)
  • 4-5 fresh mint leaves or 4 drops of food grade peppermint essential oil
DIRECTIONS:

In a high speed blender, add all ingredients.  Blend until well incorporated and smooth. Serve immediately.

Bon Appetit!

Be well,
